Taylor City Council is scheduled to vote Thursday on an economic development agreement with South Dakota-based Big Watt Digital LLC and Virginia-based PowerHouse Data Centers as the pair plan to build a more than 660-acre data center and power plant campus in the city's extraterritorial jurisdiction.

The Taylor Technology Campus, formerly nicknamed Project Mustang, will include 500 megawatts of data center power capacity with the option to add another 500 megawatts in a future project, according to the proposed agreement.
