How PetrFlux Works

1. Sourcing. News items are discovered from publicly available industry sources — trade press RSS feeds, company announcements, government and agency publications, and event organizers. Every published summary names its source and links to the original report.

2. Summaries, not republication. PetrFlux publishes short original summaries that describe what happened, in which sector, and why it matters. We do not republish full articles. Where a source's terms restrict summarisation, we keep only the factual minimum and the link.

3. Verification. Figures, project awards and corporate events are published only when they can be traced to an identifiable source. If we cannot verify it, we do not publish it.

4. Dating. News summaries carry the date of their original publication. Updated event pages are clearly refreshed, never re-dated as new news.

5. Corrections. Errors are corrected promptly on the same URL. Significant corrections are noted at the foot of the article.

6. Independence. PetrFlux is not owned by any manufacturer or vendor. Sponsored content, when introduced, will be labelled explicitly.

7. AI disclosure. Draft summaries may be machine-assisted from source metadata; every item is reviewed by a human editor before publication.
